Welcome to the Walkin' Blues website.   A classic Blues experience with a five piece band:  guitar, harp (harmonica), bass, drums and vocals.  Influenced by, and covering bands such as, Paul Butterfield, Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Little Walter, The Fabulous Thunderbirds, BB King, The Doors and more.  We hope you enjoy the sites and sounds found here and say a word on our Bluebook, but the best way to get to know the Walkin' Blues is to see us live.

On a bitter cold New England night, still feeling blue over the Patriots playoff loss the week before, things warmed up for locals at the Orpheum Theatre in Foxboro who hosted a Blues night.  Featured act the Dan Lawson Band along with Mark T. Small and The Walkin’ Blues Band performed three sets of various blues material to an appreciative crowd.
 
Those in attendance enjoyed an intimate atmosphere affording all a good view of the stage and the acoustics of a room geared beautifully for a live show.  The Orpheum proved to be the perfect venue as people heard the big sound of each act.
 
The Walkin Blues Band opened with a classic blues set featuring master of the harmonica, Mark Todd whose wailing riffs took the crowd back the Mississippi Delta.  Their high energy set was highlighted by guitar player Stefan Iris who provided the four piece band tasteful rhythm and extraordinary leads showing his diverse technical skill.
